Family Tradition • Old-School Collecting
More Than a Hobby

Dan's Sweet Pickins grew out of a lifelong love of collecting. I started collecting trading cards in the late 1980s and comic books in the early 1990s. Some of my best childhood memories are going to comic conventions and card shows with my father, and over the years that passion became a family tradition.
I still like to keep things old school. For me, collecting isn't just about what something is worth — it's about the stories, the memories, the hunt, and the people you meet along the way.
One of my favorite parts of doing shows and selling collectibles is meeting people, talking about the things we love, and seeing familiar faces come back again. Repeat customers mean a lot to me, and providing friendly, personal customer service is a big part of what Dan's Sweet Pickins is all about.
Comics, cards, collectibles, curiosities, handmade creations, and convention weekends have been part of my life for decades. This is more than a hobby to me. It's a way of life, and I love it.
